The 40-Year-Old Virgin (Unrated Widescreen Edition)

Forget winter. Spring is the best time of the year. Birds are singing, flowers are growing, and best of all, all of the trees are turning green! I love it! Right now, most of the trees around home are in that almost-stage. Almost in full foliage, but not quite. The leaves are almost-green. But right now, they're more the color green of the trees in old Disney movies or bedtime story books.

I've finally joined the realm of the free. I moved into my apartment last Wednesday. I'm loving every minute of freedom. The only thing I don't like about it: coming home in the dark to an empty house.
Sometimes it takes me

Organized Chaos, Strategized Randomosity
Ever wonder why telephone poles are all perfectly round and made of wood? Next time you go out, try to count all of the telephone poles that you see. Imagine just how many trees had to die so squirrels can electrocute themselves and we can sit at home on our computers and send random thoughts flying through cyberspace. What's up with making them all round? Wouldn't it be just as economical to make square telephone poles? And what happens to all the telephone poles after they've been deemed "unsafe" and are taken down to be replaced with yet another dead tree?
There is a woman who comes into the store where I work every week and buys about $60 dollars worth of plastic-packaged groceries. She does not have those convenient cloth shopping bags that you can buy at Boyers for $.99, but she insists that she won't need a plastic shopping bag because: "It'll only end up in a landfill, and it's time we all started thinking about that. The environment has suffered enough because of uninformed people's negligence." She then shuffles out the store(groceries piled precariously, and often falling on the floor) opens the door of her VERY new, VERY large, SUV and drives away. This woman is not married. She does not have children, or a job that would warrant owning such an automobile for any other purpose than for pleasure. I truly do not understand that woman.
Well, all of you have a lovely day!

Life lately has been absamanzingly awesome. I have the sweetest boyfriend in the entire world. For Valentine's Day, he surprised me with a whole week of presents! I just wrote him a lousy poem and put together a photo collage of us, centered around the poem:
Me & You
A passing glance became a look;
A look became a smile
A smile sparked a friendship
Then went the extra mile.
A friendship blossomed into love
That love took root and grew.
What started with a passing glance,
Turned in to Me & You.
I've been workig a lot lately. Ten hours a day, five days a week. I never have Saturdays off. blech
Ah, well. This past weekend, I was in 5 states. With my favorite man deliverin' puppies. Managed to harass him into stopping in Hagerstown at the outlets. Love that place. My new favorite non-clothing store: Kirkwood Imports. Awesome stuff, unbeatable prices.
Some friends(and some random people who think that they're funny) have been asking me when the wedding date is. Just to clear up any misconceptions: I am having way too much fun dating the most wonderful man in the universe to think about settleing down and getting married. Come on, let me have some fun before I gotta wash a kitchen floor and clean a bunch of toilets every week!
I am quite content with my life the way it is right now.
Hope you all have an amazing day!

Life lately has been a predictable cycle of unpredictableness. Working, Sleeping, and Having fun have basically taken over my weeks. I like my life this way, although I am almost ready to return to some semblance of normality. So, how have you all been?
